This season, we’re celebrating the music that shapes our experiences, and connects us with others. From sounds that define a time in our lives to concerts that will always stick with us, music has a way of bringing everyone together.
Our 2026/27 season is here, and we can’t wait to welcome you to concerts across central London and our home in Croydon. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or joining us for the first time, we’ve put together a season that celebrates everything we love about live music – from timeless masterpieces to immersive performances and completely unique concert experiences.
As Jonathan Bloxham begins his second season as our Principal Conductor and fifth as Artistic Advisor, we’ll be performing alongside some of today’s outstanding soloists including Sean Shibe, Roderick Williams, Sophie Bevan, Kristian Bezuidenhout and Nardus Williams.
Every concert tells a story, and this season celebrates the many ways music connects people, places and generations.Chrissy Kinsella, Chief Executive
Our season openers
We’re kicking things off on 18 September at St Martin-in-the-Fields with Sean Shibe: Vivaldi Reimagined, joined shortly after by Roderick Williams and Sophie Bevan for an all-Mozart programme featuring the much-loved ‘Jupiter’ Symphony.
I’m so excited for our next season together. Making music with the adventurous and exceptional players of LMP, alongside some of the world’s finest soloists, plus exploring such a rich and varied range of repertoire promises to make this a truly memorable season.Jonathan Bloxham, Principal Conductor & Artistic Advisor
Concert highlights
From Mozart’s Requiem at our home Fairfield Halls to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and Piano Concerto No. 3 with Kristian Bezuidenhout, this season brings together some of classic music’s biggest hitters. Our immersive concert series at St Martin’s also returns with Bach’s Brandenburgs, accompanied by immersive live visuals from SDNA.
Few works combine such dramatic intensity with lyrical intimacy, capturing the unmistakable expressive power that Beethoven found in the key of C minorKristian Bezuidenhout, piano
Tasting Notes returns
Our popular wine tasting series is back for another year. This season we’ll explore wines from South Africa, Bordeaux and Italy at Smith Square Hall across three events in October, March and May.
Are those…sleigh bells?
Christmas wouldn’t be complete without our Christmas Brass Spectacular, returning to Smith Square Hall in December. Our Brass Ensemble will be joined by Croydon SDA Gospel Choir and Tiffin Choirs for a festive evening full of seasonal favourites.
Families can also enjoy some string-themed Christmas Crackers at St John’s, Upper Norwood.
For the piano fans
Piano Explored with Howard Shelley is back for its 12th series, running on the last Wednesday of the month from Jan-May 2027. We think it’s a pretty nice way to spend your lunch break.
Claws and dinosaurs
Our children’s concerts at St John’s, Upper Norwood introduce your young ones to the joy of live music. This season, we’re taking a visit to the Dinosaur Department Store and getting our claws stuck into A Cat Called Scratch.
