Introducing our new Chief Executive

We’re very excited to announce that Chrissy Kinsella will be joining us as our new Chief Executive in January 2026.

Chrissy joins LMP from the award-winning London Music Fund, a charity dedicated to widening access and opportunity in music education, particularly for young people from low socio-economic backgrounds. Under her leadership, the charity won ‘Outstanding Musical Initiative’ at the 2021 Music & Drama Education Awards and granted over 1000 scholarships to young musicians.

A passionate advocate for access and inclusion in the arts, Chrissy began her career as a professional singer after studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. She also holds a Distinction in her Master’s in Music Education from UCL’s Institute of Education. Her published research focuses on the impact of COVID-19 on community music-making.

I’ve long admired LMP’s rich history as one of the UK’s leading chamber orchestras, and its deep commitment to the communities it serves. Having lived in South London for 15 years, I feel a strong connection to this part of the city, and to the values that underpin LMP’s work.
